About us summed up in one word... FUN!
We try to make everyday fun for the guests and staff. We have a solid food menu but we will run specials everyday to keep things interesting. We try to provide events like; bike night, trivia night, cool t-shirt competitions, karaoke night, open mic nights, rock band nights, two for one Tuesdays, and live bands on Saturdays.
We also like good competitions. H.O.T. will have competitions on bull riding, calf roping, various arcade machines and of course our sports game competitions on x-box and playstation.
H.O.T. has loose gaming machines with six of them away from the bar with comfortable chairs to help you relax better.
Once in a while the Heart of Texas comes on the sound system and if you are singing you can win a free drink. Don't be surprised if a one of the H.O.T. bartenders asks you to escort them onto the dance floor for some country line dancing.
We make all of our food from scratch as authentic as possible but trying to keep the sodium and the sugars to a minimum making our food much more healthy than most other restaurants. We use no MSG or trans-fats and we keep gluten to a bare minimum. One goal is to bring you authentic great tasting food at a good value and a healthier choice. Our bar staff creates new cocktails each month and it will be posted on the wall with the name of the drink and the creators name. If you have an interesting drink you know of, suggest it to the staff and you can have your name under theirs.
H.O.T. would also like you to consider competing to get on our wall of fame for most tacos eaten in a
a single sitting every Tuesday. Your name will be up for a month on the list and the top name each month will go on permanently! If you have a huge appetite, try our monster enchilada with over five pounds of filling!!! If you eat it all you don't pay for it and you get a t-shirt saying "I ate the whole enchilada!" on the front and Heart of Texas on the back. Keep an eye out for other food competitions.
